You'll probably call me crazy but I'd say, without a doubt, that my favorite part of Versailles wasn't the opulent, gold-encrusted salons, or the magnificent gardens and scenic fountains. The place that had stolen part of my heart was the orchard and the memory of us under a peach tree, whose shadow was a caress on my soul.
