Summer 1996. The air is fresh and thin as we set sail aboard a sailboat. We say goodbye to Tuscany and, after several hours of navigation, the wild coasts of Sardinia welcome us. The scent of myrtle and helichrysum, hot under the August sun, carry the scent of the sea. That scent of home, lightheartedness, swimming at midnight and laughter until the sky clears up that will make our heart skip a beat every time we remember that our skin tasted like "salt water".
